We recently raised a $40M Series B led by Insight Partners, bringing our total funding to $70M from top-tier investors including Redpoint and Innovation Endeavors. This new round is fueling our next phase of growth as we scale AI agents across the jobsite. Our mission is to build the future of construction through intelligent automation. Despite being a $13+ trillion industry, construction still runs largely on analog processes—we’re changing that by embedding AI directly into field operations. Founded by builders and technologists (Stanford, MIT), our team has delivered software used by over 140,000 field professionals, impacting millions of users and contributing to $10B+ in built projects. Many of us come from the field ourselves, giving us a deep understanding of the industry’s unique challenges. After years of building the “brain” of construction, we’re now launching production-ready AI agents—starting with intelligent document processing and Q&A, and rapidly expanding into core operational workflows. Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on core product features and (micro)interactions from initial concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity designs and handoff.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Engage in user feedback loops to validate designs and adjust based on real-world use.
- Support the evolution of our product to a robust, enterprise-scale platform.
- Work closely with the Senior Product Designer, Product Managers, and the broader team to help shape the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Deep experience designing for complex real-world workflows, especially those involving physical coordination, compliance, or document-heavy processes.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and iterating fast with PMs, engineers, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to translate complex process logic into beautiful, usable interfaces.
- Strong systems thinking and knowledge of when to create one-offs versus reusable, scalable patterns.
- Hands-on experience implementing designs with HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks.
- Experience shaping and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
Nice-to-haves
- Construction/contech experience, such as working with BIM or construction project management tools.
- A portfolio that shows clarity of thought, strong visual polish, and a demonstrated ability to reduce complexity through structure.
- Familiarity with tools like Lovable, Cursor, Claude/ChatGPT, Storybook, and GitHub.
- Willingness to push into early product territory, including wireframing from zero and proposing design directions.
