About the position

As a Senior Product Manager for Agentic AI, in collaboration with the wider product strategy team, you will be responsible for driving product strategy across the SAS platform with respect to dynamic container runtimes that form the foundation of decision intelligence and agentic AI capabilities. In this high-profile role, you will be responsible for developing product direction for a collection of technologies that allow for rapid deployment of SAS and non-SAS assets (like AI models and business rules) into various third-party environments. You will work closely with software engineering teams to develop a platform product vision for this product area and craft requirements as needed to support development of the product roadmap. You will join with colleagues in sales, marketing, customer support, and field enablement roles to bring your products to market and generate new revenue. You will communicate product content and knowledge to internal constituents and demonstrate product leadership to the public through direct engagement with customers, partners, and analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the vision and roadmap for this product area.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on business drivers, customer inputs, market needs, and field contributions.
  • Define user personas and write use cases.
  • Drive product development and collaborate with software development teams based on prioritized requirements and product lifecycle strategy.
  • Support product launches by imparting product knowledge to marketing and sales teams.
  • Present product vision, roadmap, and software demonstrations to internal constituents, senior management stakeholders, customers, press, analysts, influencers, and others.
  • Identify new markets, evaluate emerging technologies, and explore business issues that may present opportunities or threats to the company.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management and/or software engineering related to data management, decision management, or AI/analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in working with software development teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Familiarity with one or more open-source runtimes, packages, and libraries (like Python).
  • Understand concepts of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) business models.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platform provider technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and business information for diverse audiences.
  • You're curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
