About the position

We work closely with Engineering, Experience Design, Analytics, Third Party system and service providers and business leaders across the company to bring these solutions to life. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager for Supply Chain and Retail Technology to lead a strategic initiative focused on transforming our last mile delivery platform. This includes integrating with third-party execution systems and logistics partners to streamline and scale delivery operations across North America and the UK. In this role, you will optimize the end-to-end shipment execution lifecycle for a diverse carrier landscape to reduce friction in the delivery process, and strong business performance. You’ll act as a connective tissue between engineering, business stakeholders, operations, and external partners to deliver scalable and resilient solutions that power key business functions. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, can manage complex technical ecosystems, and is passionate about building foundational infrastructure that improves operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Building out the fulfillment management system (FMS) by supporting new use cases for fulfillment and furthering the orchestrator role that FMS plays across Wayfair supply chain
- Leading Cross-Functional Initiatives: Acting as the product lead for major, time-sensitive programs like 3P WMS integration, Multichannel capabilities, Delivery Services, Multi-carrier multi-leg, and Fareye integration initiatives
- Unlocking new use cases based on the fulfillment state: Defining and implementing the use cases to predict delays and communicating an updated delivery promise where possible, by partnering closely with other tech teams
- Defining a repository of future looking use cases for FMS: Through learnings from the existing capabilities, and strong product discovery, define a strong roadmap of use cases that FMS should support in the mid to long term.
- Lead discovery efforts to gather and translate internal and external partner needs into clear business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate independently with stakeholders, internal technology teams across supply chain, storefront and supplier-facing to drive improvements in speed, cost and customer experience metrics.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and External partners to deliver on your roadmap and improve team execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on enterprise platforms, or integrations.
- Strong track record of product discovery, defining the right problems to solve, and executing deliverables to solve those problems and unlock business outcomes
- Comfortable discussing system workflows, tech design, and architecture decisions with engineers.
- Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple cross-functional teams.
- Skilled at managing stakeholders, including senior leadership, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong communicator with a proven ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and external partners.
