About the position

At Counterpart Health, we are transforming healthcare and improving patient care with our innovative primary care tool, Counterpart Assistant. By supporting Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), we are able to deliver improved outcomes to our patients at a lower cost through early diagnosis and longitudinal care management of chronic conditions. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager on the Counterpart team to lead the development of our clinical data platform—a critical foundation that enables the rest of the company to generate timely insights, support clinical workflows, and power predictive models. You’ll drive platform strategy, ensure data quality and integrity, and be accountable for scaling the infrastructure that powers our expanding product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a pod of data engineers to iteratively improve our clinical data platform, enabling faster insights and more effective care delivery.
  • Act as the triad lead (Product, Engineering, Data Science), coordinating deeply with clinical teams (MDs, RNs, MAs, medical coders) and cross-functional product pods.
  • Own the roadmap: align platform investments with company goals, balancing foundational work with the needs of dependent teams.
  • Define and track metrics that clearly communicate pod impact clearly to leadership and dependent pods.
  • Establish strong data governance practices and proactively monitor and address data quality issues.
  • Become the go-to expert on how our platform processes, enriches, and distributes clinical data.
  • Raise the bar on execution by proactively identifying blockers, surfacing technical risks, and driving decision-making in ambiguous situations.
  • Build high-trust relationships across teams, providing clarity and structure that help others move faster and with greater confidence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on data platforms or healthcare data infrastructure.
  • Strong technical foundation—comfortable with APIs, data pipelines, and querying datasets via SQL or similar tools.
  • Experience with healthcare data formats and standards like FHIR, HL7, CCLF, EHR, claims, labs, or ADT feeds.
  • Ability to drive outcomes—not just projects—and hold yourself and others to a high bar.
  • Initiative in unstructured spaces and love turning ambiguity into systems that scale.

Nice-to-haves

  • Clear thinker and communicator, able to zoom out to strategy and zoom in to edge cases with engineering.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and equity opportunities.
  • Performance-based bonus program.
  • 401k matching.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Mental health resources and initiatives such as No-Meeting Fridays and monthly company holidays.
  • Flexible time-off policy.
  • Learning programs, mentorship, and professional development funding.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) offering discounted equity opportunities.
  • Reimbursement for office setup expenses.
  • Monthly cell phone & internet stipend.
  • Remote-first culture, enabling collaboration with global teams.
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents.
