About the position

The Senior Social Media Manager manages organic social media efforts and leads social media strategies in alignment with the Brand Marketing team's content strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement. This role involves developing and executing the organic social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across all social media channels including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging channels. The manager will drive the creation of high-quality, engaging social media content including graphics, videos, and written posts, ensuring posts are consistent, cohesive, and on-brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organic social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across all social media channels.
  • Drive the creation of high-quality, engaging social media content including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Contribute to identification of content needs for internal marketing partners and business units for social media.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and implement social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize social media presence.
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for each of the social media channels.
  • Propose and analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to key stakeholders.
  • Lead, manage, and partner with social media agencies and vendors.
  • Provide mentorship to other Marketing Managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' experience developing and executing marketing strategies in a multi-channel, multi-product environment.
  • Experience in social media marketing, landscapes, standard operating procedures, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with social media content management systems (i.e. HeyOrca, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Advanced written, editorial, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail, creativity, and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Availability to work occasional nights and weekends to support events.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, large, and complex organization on tight timelines within a cross-functional team setting.
  • Ability to foster internal and external business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects in accordance with short-and-long range objectives.
  • Familiarity with financial services marketing strategies & regulations preferred.
  • Strong initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills and internet savvy with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
