We’re looking for a senior level engineer to be part of our growing team of technologists. In this role, you’ll write software alongside a team of global engineers on projects that matter to our customers and business travelers, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications
- Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
- Own delivery of application features end-to-end by working with product and engineering teams
- Innovate and implement new ideas to solve software problems and improve customer experience
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Work closely with geographically distributed team members
- Mentor, support and develop junior engineers
- Seek and share domain and industry knowledge with the team to improve engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- Core skills and knowledge areas: Front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Node, or React)
- Enterprise web applications (Java, Kotlin, or Spring)
- Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- SDLC and agile methodologies, and agile tools and programming practices
- CI-CD principles and technologies
- AWS services and building deployment pipelines
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Building and delivering multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS software
- Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners
- Passion for maintaining high-quality standards in software development
- Communicates complex information in a concise and clear way to technical and non-technical partners
