The App Platform Engineering Team is responsible for building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure, tools, and frameworks that empower product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications. Focused on developer experience and platform performance, the team manages core services such as CI/CD pipelines, e2e testing, observability, runtime environments, and shared component library. In this role you will be working hybrid from our office in Seattle, WA and report to the Engineering Manager for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical strategy and systems of the App Platform engineering team.
  • Deliver end to end complex projects and product features, with high autonomy and quality.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers across teams to help achieve product and business goals.
  • Lead the engineering team to develop high quality solutions and guide operational excellence, through system design, code reviews, monitoring, and automation.
  • Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of our software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Uphold our high engineering standards.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading other engineers on large features in collaboration with Product Management and other partners.
  • Experience with CI/CD and advanced deployment strategies.
  • Strong computer science, web, and native app fundamentals, and knowledge of design patterns.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
