Senior Software Engineer, Automation Infrastructure

This is a hybrid role based in New York City. Team members typically work in our Manhattan office 3-5 days a week, with empathetic flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product, and security teams to optimize the development lifecycle by eliminating bottlenecks, automating tasks, and improving developer velocity.
• Own the developer experience, including CI/CD, local environments, compliance, and documentation.
• Lead infrastructure design and implementation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement tools, CI/CD optimizations, and self-service solutions to enhance developer productivity.
• Build and manage container-based platforms and underlying infrastructure (compute, networking, storage).
• Establish monitoring, infrastructure health reporting, and self-healing mechanisms.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation, reliability, and monitoring solutions to enhance system availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex delivery pipeline issues and ensure high-availability systems.
• Stay ahead of platform engineering trends and apply best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Professional experience with the technologies and expectations listed above.
• Able to work in our NYC office (FiDi) 3-5 days a week.
• Excited about applying technology to improve healthcare.
