About the position
Mozart Data automates most of the work data engineers and data scientists traditionally do to spin up and run a modern data stack. For each of our customers, we manage a (Snowflake) data warehouse, build and maintain ETL pipelines, and provide an easy-to-use interface for building and scheduling data transformations, monitoring and visualizing pipelines, and cataloging and organizing their data. In this role you will own systems and features of our data-platform, be a key decision maker on technical challenges, and work collaboratively with the product & engineering team to build a world-class product. You will also collaborate with our sales and marketing team to determine what's best for our customers, build APIs and models to extend our Django backend, and create synchronous and asynchronous systems that interact with our multi-tenant Snowflake data-warehouse and third-party APIs like Fivetran, Salesforce, and Google Sheets. If interested, this role could include some devops as well - we use Google Cloud Platform, including AppEngine, CloudSQL, MemoryStore, and Cloud Tasks.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience working in Django
- Experience leading teams & mentoring others
- Has had technical ownership of product and/or features
- Worked full-lifecycle of feature or product release
