Senior Software Engineer I

About the position

This position requires a technical engineering background with a focus on technology infrastructure and operational excellence. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships across various levels of the organization and managing multiple projects effectively. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and operational issues, and will also have leadership responsibilities within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community, and with vendors.
• Use time management skills to prioritize, organize, and track details of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
• Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results.
• Identify operational issues and recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems.
• Provide direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a technical engineering role, or High school / GED and at least 6 years of experience in a technical engineering role.
• Experience in technology infrastructure, such as Network, Monitoring, Systems, Databases, etc.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues and trends.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve them.
• At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics.
• Experience identifying the relationship of bugs to software code.
• Experience with C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of Azure Process.
• Experience with Payment Systems.
• Experience with PCI Compliance.
