Responsibilities
- Work alongside other team members in the Production & Procurement squad, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
- Play an active part in delivering your squad's and the Technology team's roadmaps.
- Write, review and support code in our platform, owning ideas from requirements to production code.
- Be responsible for quality at every step along the way.
- Own feature development from ideation through to production release and ongoing maintenance.
- Work alongside other engineers, the Product team, staff in the warehouse, and other stakeholders to build the right functionality at the right time.
- Bring energy and positivity to the role, looking for every opportunity to learn and craft the role around our values.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a track record of successfully developing and deploying web applications.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Python for server-side development.
- Knowledge of React for front-end development.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Love to collaborate and are at your best when working cross functionally with other teams.
- Have a positive and optimistic attitude.
- Take a collaborative, data-driven, and experimental approach to solving complex problems.
- Keen to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in warehouse operations or supply chain domains.
- Experience working with distributed architectures, including how best to test and release them.
