As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Asset Management Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. As a Software Engineer Sr (QA), you will work with a cross-functional team to understand application enhancements, develop and execute low-maintenance automated tests around those enhancements, and provide detailed test reports. Manual testing may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Experience with Selenium ALM among other tools needed.
  • Working with and building test frameworks and test strategies for automation.
  • Review and understand manual test cases and design solutions for automation.
  • Java development background.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong technical skills on Windows Operating System.
  • Experience in working with vendor partners and multiple teams across multiple locations.
  • Be a self-starter, work with minimal direction.
  • Train others on test automation.
