About the position

Monograph is a firm performance management platform for architecture and engineering practices. Firms use Monograph to make quick and confident decisions about budgeting and resources to drive their practices forward. As an Engineer at Monograph, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to redefining architecture and improving the design process. You will work with a talented group of product people and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time learning about the industry we serve.
  • Provide technical mentorship to a teammate.
  • Work with product and engineering peers to scope, deliver, test, and maintain features.
  • Estimate project work to set or reset expectations with teammates.
  • Spend time 1:1 with your manager and other Monograph leaders.
  • Contribute to decision-making through our RFC process.
  • Perform compassionate code reviews.
  • Track down and fix bugs.
  • Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams.
  • Write and ship code in Next.js and Rails applications.
  • Contribute to our engineering culture.
  • Spend time with teammates in various collaborative settings.
  • Share weekly goals with teammates.

Requirements

  • Currently in the SF area and open to joining a remote-first team.
  • Experience with React/Typescript and Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Mid to senior level startup experience.
