Senior Software Engineer

Meet Method is redefining consumer finance with our innovative APIs that provide real-time read-write access to consumer liability accounts. With over 4 million users and partnerships with 60+ financial institutions, we are on a path to revolutionize financial connectivity. As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to own projects from end-to-end, making impactful decisions on both technical and business fronts. You will work autonomously while receiving support from your team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform, including a reliable backend in Node and user experiences in React.
• Build and scale our core API to handle millions of requests per day.
• Investigate and debug issues using monitoring and logging tools, creating clear action items for resolution.
• Maintain our high technical standards by participating in code reviews and interviewing new team members.
• Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap by understanding customer needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
• Expert knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Java, or equivalent languages.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications with a history of excellent projects.
• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas clearly, breaking down large solutions into smaller tasks.
• Balance between moving fast and ensuring quality in solutions.
• Natural curiosity to stay updated with new technologies and emerging FinTech trends.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Finance / FinTech.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of payment rails such as ACH, RTP, etc.
• DevOps experience with AWS, Cloudflare, and CI/CD tools.
