About the position

We are seeking an Information Technology professional who has a steadfast drive for excellence, challenges themselves and their peers, enjoys working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrates a good work ethic, has a strong ability and willingness to learn, excels in a variety of job assignments, understands fundamental physics and math concepts, and can apply them to real applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementing and testing software solutions to solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the industry. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is very customer-centric, understands the big picture and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals. You will be required to be available after work hours and weekends to support any critical issues and support application rollouts.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementing and testing software solutions to solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the industry.
  • Review Pull requests, cross-collaborate with the developers for user stories and tasks, estimate the story points and manage their board effectively.
  • Actively engage in development team activities associated with brainstorming new solutions and refining current solutions.
  • Drive technical efforts that lead to success in software project delivery.
  • Possess technical depth and applied experience in multi-layer solution development, performance tuning, solution debug, incident triage/remediation, and usability improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in the software engineering industry.
  • Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
  • Experience deploying applications for use in enterprise production use is a must.
  • Experience working with modern open-source tools like Angular 18/19, Spring boot is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of UI/UX for business applications is a must.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
  • Proven experience in cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes is highly recommended.
  • Experience with Github and project management tools like Azure ADO or Jira is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and persistence to push through.
  • Strong mentoring skills.
  • Passion for constant learning and self-improvement.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
