The Software Integration, Architecture, and Analysis team is searching for an energetic, self-starting software Engineer to help us build and expand our modeling and simulation capabilities. This role supports software development on the Hoverfly program, offering you the opportunity to work on an Agile development team delivering modeling and simulation solutions to our customers who are seeking to perform studies on orbital trades, collection competition, scheduling parameter tuning, tasking strategies, etc. that inform them on best use of current and future systems.

Requirements

  • Software development experience in Python, Java, C#, C++, or a closely related language
  • Experience working on teams using Agile practices
  • Current TS/SCI clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • DevSecOps experience
  • AI/ML experience is highly preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of professional experience with software development
  • Space ISR domain experience, especially GEOINT systems is helpful but not required
  • WSF Python experience
  • AFSIM experience
  • Active MQ Experience
  • CI/CD experience, especially with Gitlab, Ansible, and or Terraform experience is helpful
  • Experience developing modeling and simulation software is preferred but not required
  • Java experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or a similar STEM discipline
