7-Eleven’s Store Technology – RIS2.0 Store Support team is seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js and React.js developer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking group of engineers, architects, and product innovators. In this role, you will play a key part in modernizing our legacy systems by helping transition them into a scalable, cloud-based architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies to design and develop impactful digital solutions that streamline store operations and significantly improve the day-to-day experiences of our store associates. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Transition legacy systems into a modern, cloud-based platform.
- Develop unit tests during the development process.
- Drive design/architectural path.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team.
Requirements
- 5-7 years development experience.
- Expertise in ReactJS, React, React Native, and Node.js development.
- Strong experience in UI development using ReactJS, HTML5/CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Expertise in AWS technologies like CloudFront, SNS, SES, SQS, Cloud Formation.
- Experience working with DevOps and build pipelines.
- Strong experience in building RESTful web services.
- Strong knowledge in NoSQL databases, MongoDB is a plus.
- Strong experience with development methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM.
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and advisory skills.
