This role is responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of Baxter's OR lights and will coordinate cross-functionally in a matrix organization to drive profitable portfolio growth globally. As a Sr Specialist, you have lots of ideas grounded in research and knowledge of the marketplace. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product teams across business units to align on release cadences and roadmap prioritization.
  • Incorporate innovation to address market needs and opportunities.
  • Understand key market/customer trends and competitor strategies.
  • Drive clinical research requirements to support the value proposition and product launch activities.
  • Drive alignment with regional marketing and business partners on market needs, go to market strategies and pricing.
  • Develop and track key business performance indicators to identify necessary countermeasures to achieving business/market goals.
  • Serve as the technical lead with customer partners on technology deployment for product validation requirements.
  • Operate cross-functionally to deploy new go-to-market strategies for technology including pricing, quote to cash, training and support.
  • Partner with global commercial and service teams to drive market adoption of connected IT solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • 5 years of professional experience in product management and/or marketing in a life sciences corporation (medical device, diagnostics or capital equipment experience preferred).
  • 2 years product management experience for a device connectivity portfolio (hardware and software).
  • 2 years upstream/global, regional, or country marketing capacity preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results across multiple business units and functions in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in persuading individuals across functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage partners at all levels, including executive-level presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decisive decision-making, personal accountability, and self-motivation, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Shown product management experience with success driving aligned, global initiatives that meet/exceed targets.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international).
