About the position

We are looking for an energetic, highly organized A-player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. As part of the Marketing team, this role will support planning and logistics for Samsara’s annual customer conference, Beyond, as well as our global roadshow program, Go Beyond. Responsibilities include oversight of key vendor partnerships, venue coordination, expo hall ideation and execution, ancillary events, and our Beyond Bash evening celebration. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of business priorities to ensure event strategies align with company goals, while effectively managing stakeholder input, timelines, and cross-functional execution. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver event programs that elevate Samsara’s brand, drive customer engagement, and support strategic objectives. Your leadership will be essential to producing a seamless, high-impact experience that creates lasting value for attendees and the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics and vendor management, including venue selection, food and beverage, social programming, travel, and transportation coordination.
  • Manage comprehensive program planning and execution—from stakeholder alignment and executive approvals to timelines, budgets, floor plans, registration, signage, collateral production, and hotel room blocks.
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and run-of-show documents to ensure flawless execution and cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling, on-brand event experiences through creative elements such as graphics, visuals, and video content.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous events and programs, effectively prioritizing overlapping timelines and deliverables.
  • Build and track detailed event budgets, provide regular updates to leadership, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Represent and reinforce Samsara’s brand by designing event experiences that reflect our identity, values, and commitment to customer impact.
  • Bring energy, creativity, and fresh ideas to continuously elevate and innovate the attendee experience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in event production management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • Extraordinary attention to detail and able to run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines.
