Senior UX/UI Designer in the USA or Canada

About the position

Cloud for Good is looking for a full time UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface) designer who is responsible for creating digital experiences that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional. Their primary goal is to ensure that users can navigate and interact with digital products seamlessly, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement. The position is virtual, based in a home office in the US, and is open to citizens or permanent residents of the USA, as the company cannot provide visa sponsorship. The role may require a maximum of 20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Portal Design: External-facing grantmaking portal, portal design (wireframes, etc), QA/testing to ensure build meets specifications.
• Design Discovery / User Research: Lead client discovery calls to conduct research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
• User Flows and Wireframing: Create user flows and wireframes to outline the structure and layout of digital interfaces.
• Information Architecture: Organize content and information in a clear and coherent manner.
• Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes that simulate the user experience.
• Visual Design: Craft the visual elements of the user interface, including color schemes, typography, icons, and images.
• Interaction Design: Design interactive elements such as buttons, navigation menus, and animations.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing with real users to identify any pain points.
• Collaborating with Technical Staff: Work closely with members of the technical team to ensure that the design is implemented accurately.
• Accessibility: Ensure that the design follows accessibility guidelines.
• Iterative Design: Continuously refine and iterate on the design based on user feedback.
• User-Centered Design: Keep the user at the center of the design process.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Keeping Up with Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Strong Salesforce UX/UI Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Proficiency with Experience Cloud strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Figma strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SLDS a plus.
• Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) a plus.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud (MC) is a plus for email template/design work.
