About the position

The Senior UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) Designer will make complex requirements simple for the end user. The projects will focus on following existing interaction patterns and inventing new ones. The UI/UX Designer will be building software that will be seen by thousands of users and because of that it is essential to have a passion for highly functional, user-centric design with an ability to pay close attention to detail and deliver work at the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management to understand and identify priorities and problems to solve with user design.
  • Interview customers to directly understand their problems and understand the design of user-centric interactions and create intuitive solutions based on their needs.
  • Create workflow diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify user needs and translate them into meaningful design solutions.
  • Work directly with Software Developers to ensure pixel-perfect screen layouts and beautiful visual outcomes.
  • Champion user experience within the development team and be responsible for applying user-centered design techniques at all stages of the development process.
  • Contribute in an Agile environment to produce design specs for multiple scrum teams.
  • Work on cross-platform software application and services, including desktop, web, and mobile/tablet devices.
  • Maintain familiarity with products to ensure compatibility and consistency with user workflows shared across product suite.
  • Effectively present complex concepts to stakeholders through visual design.

Requirements

  • Experience with UX/UI and/or IXD (Interaction Design).
  • Experience conducting user research.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience creating User Flows, Journey Maps, Storyboards, Wireframes.
  • Experience with design/prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Marvel, Principle, etc.
  • Experience with user testing: test scripts, session facilitation, analysis.
  • Experience with Responsive Web Design and Adaptive Web Design.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience explaining design and influencing a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
