About the position

The position involves owning the design process for new initiatives, from early concepts to detailed deliverables, UI copy, and production assets. The designer will identify target user groups and carry out interviews to understand user needs, working closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop user-centered designs that enhance the user experience and drive business success. The role also includes serving as a subject matter expert for the design team, providing guidance, documenting best practices, and mentoring other designers. Additionally, the designer will analyze workflows of existing and new products, current UI/UX, and Sales and Marketing strategies to create user designs that align with business strategies. The position requires designing an integrated UI/UX workflow that supports a more intuitive self-service model across products, producing high-quality solutions through various design tools, and using data from research and user testing to create user-centered designs. The designer will also develop new designs to maintain a competitive edge and perform tests on user interface elements to continuously improve the user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design process for new initiatives, from early concepts to detailed deliverables, UI copy, and production assets.
  • Identify target user groups and carry out interviews and related inquiries to understand user needs.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop user-centered designs that enhance the user experience and drive business success.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the design team, providing guidance, documenting best practices, and mentoring other designers.
  • Analyze the workflows of existing and new products, current UI/UX, and Sales and Marketing business strategies to create user designs that align with business strategies.
  • Design an integrated UI/UX workflow that supports a more intuitive self-service model across products.
  • Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps using expertise in established design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe).
  • Use data from research, user testing, and market analysis to create user-centered designs.
  • Develop new designs to maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends.
  • Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages, and banners.
  • Use metrics to analyze and continuously improve the user experience.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in User Experience Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience performing web and User Interface (UI) design and development.
  • 3 years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, content, and research teams.
  • 3 years of experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms.
  • 3 years of experience working with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across various platforms.
  • 2 years of experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.
  • 1 year of experience designing UI / UX for B2B SaaS products.
  • 1 year of experience soliciting user feedback, both directly with customers and indirectly through tracking customer usage and impact on sales through analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
  • 1 year of experience onboarding and managing entry level designers.
