About the position

The SVP, Marketing Solutions Global Product Pillar Lead, Insights, Platforms & Innovation is responsible for driving the growth of TransUnion’s Marketing Solutions business by driving product innovation, with a deep focus on creating and executing a global Insights, Platforms & Innovation strategy. Reporting to the EVP of Marketing Solutions this role will be global in scope. They will own the global strategy and implementation for TransUnion’s core Insights products (e.g., Consumer Insights, Commerce Insights) and be responsible for prioritizing requirements across regions. They will also be directly responsible for TransUnion’s Platform strategy, managing existing integrations and dependencies across the Marketing Solutions’ suite. They will work closely with the Data Asset Management leadership, Global Technology leadership, Business Operations, and our Regional and Vertical Strategy teams to define and execute on an overarching strategy, including evaluating and executing on partnership and M&A opportunities. They will partner with other teams within Marketing Solutions and other Solutions lines to incorporate dependencies across Marketing Solutions’ overarching product suite, and partner with our Sales and Marketing teams in driving the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and execute the three-year product roadmap plan for Insights, Platforms, & Integrations.
  • Gather market intelligence on macro-economic and industry trends, consumer behaviors, regulatory changes and hurdles, disruptive innovations, and competitive offerings to validate and refine our product roadmap.
  • Represent TransUnion as a thought leader and industry expert at industry conferences, in media, etc.
  • Develop product concepts that leverage internal and external customer feedback and market insights.
  • Define global products with consideration of how to localize into regional markets.
  • Identify partnership needs and vendors to deliver on additional partnerships, integrations or data needs.
  • Prioritize data investments and product development roadmap after considering the input and opportunities presented by the various TransUnion vertical leaders and sales teams.
  • Drive localization needs based on Global product plan and own any local products alignment.
  • Lead teams of global product managers (SMEs) and strategists.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in a marketing or advertising technology or related role with a track record of delivering value; preferably with some experience within a Global role.
  • 20+ years of progressively more responsible experience in product management and innovation.
  • Strong background in risk management.
  • Executive Management and leadership experience in successfully building and growing global teams.
  • Track record of building and executing ground up strategies to deliver on major organizational initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline.
  • MBA or other Master’s degree highly desired.

  • Experience working and understanding Marketing Global landscape for Privacy, Compliance, and Data regulations.
  • Experience assessing the marketplace to evaluate partnership and M&A opportunities, and managing key partner relationships.
  • Strong track record of managing product strategists and leaders.
  • Experience developing and delivering product roadmaps for data and/or technical solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Compelling and effective communication, cross-functionally and at all levels, internal and external.
  • Exudes accountability and ownership and is passionate about the problems the products solve.
  • Solid organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high degree of comfort managing multiple assignments.
