Shift Lead

About the position

Jimmy John's is seeking a Shift Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for running the shift and ensuring superior customer service and high-quality products are delivered when the General Manager is not on duty. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, receive paid training, and gain valuable skills in food preparation and service operations. Shift Leads start between $15 - $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service.
• Routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.
• Completes and oversees daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).
• Completes and oversees opening and closing procedures.
• Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness. Completes daily paperwork as necessary.
• Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.
• Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
• Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance and a clean driving record.
