About the position
The Shopgoodwill Product Specialist works inside the retail store location and assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by identifying, selecting, and forwarding high-value items to our eCommerce facility to support the growth of Goodwill’s online sales. This role will also function in various capacities within the store location when needed.
Responsibilities
- Searches incoming donations for high-value merchandise.
- Processes and organizes products for eCommerce and in-store showcases.
- Completes all required training to assist the site in achieving online sales goals.
- Maximizes online posting percentage while maintaining a high average ticket.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area.
- Hits financial goal/budget.
Requirements
- Demonstrated capability and ability to articulate how prior experiences will help contribute.
- Customer focus with the ability to relate with customers effectively.
- Teamwork skills to assist the team or project to achieve required outputs.
- Effective communication skills using oral, written, visual, and non-verbal communication.
- Solid knowledge of G Suite, MS Office, databases, and internet navigation.

- Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple priorities.
- Adherence to ethical procedures and protocols.
- Attention to detail and quality in accomplishing tasks.
