Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Architect and implement highly available and distributed services. Experienced with scalable distributed persistent cache or stores like: Cassandra, Voldemort, Memcached, and Redis. Experienced with large-scale datacenter application deployments, including: monitoring and capacity planning. Understanding key cloud technologies and infrastructure like Docker, S3 and other cloud based functions. Help innovate and improve the efficiency of Apple Media Product’s services. 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- Architect and implement highly available and distributed services.
- Work with scalable distributed persistent cache or stores like Cassandra, Voldemort, Memcached, and Redis.
- Manage large-scale datacenter application deployments, including monitoring and capacity planning.
- Understand key cloud technologies and infrastructure like Docker, S3 and other cloud based functions.
- Help innovate and improve the efficiency of Apple Media Product’s services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with distributed system design.
- 1 year of experience with assessment and troubleshooting.
- 1 year of experience with design patterns.
- 1 year of experience with Java JVM, Rust, C or C++.
- 1 year of experience with data analysis.
