About the position
At Qualtrics, we need talented Software Engineers who are passionate about crafting innovative and reliable software solutions that address real-world challenges. You will work directly with Product managers, UX designers and other engineering teams in building elegant solutions to solve hard problems of voice data ingestion and transformation at scale. You will engage in brainstorming sessions that inspire creativity and drive the development of high-quality products. This position empowers you to take ownership of projects, allowing you to influence design decisions and implement best practices that enhance both functionality and user experience. Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust components and systems for the distributed processing of audio and textual data at scale, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and tools.
- Establish and refine operational practices to ensure the high availability and reliability of voice processing systems.
- Enhance your expertise in the telecom and audio processing domains, while deepening your understanding of industry standards.
- Create interactive tools for configuring and managing voice pipelines, optimizing user experience and operational efficiency.
- Investigate and leverage AI capabilities throughout every stage of the process and across all system components.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various locations and disciplines to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a full-stack web engineering position.
- Experience with building distributed systems in the cloud, preferably on AWS.
- Strong software engineering practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documents, architecture reviews).
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in technology and software development.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
