About the position
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Work on automation of business systems critical for the Apple organization. Utilize technologies such as Nginx, Netscalar, Load Balancing and Docker or Kubernetes Automation of business systems critical for the Apple organization to build a great user experience. Design and manage core infrastructure services as configuration management, authentication, orchestration and provisioning. Utilize scripting and a programming language such as Python in order to automate cloud infrastructure tasks. Responsible for supporting, designing, testing, reviewing, system maintenance, vendor and contractor liaison and other activities as required for the effort. Provide Tier 2/3 technical support regarding load balancing issues. Automate processes where appropriate and apply datastore best practices. Collaborate with development and evaluation teams in the design of supporting infrastructure and automated processes to ensure successful delivery of stable, maintainable, and supportable services. 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities

- Utilize scripting and a programming language such as Python to automate cloud infrastructure tasks.
- Support, design, test, review, and maintain systems.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors as required.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support regarding load balancing issues.
- Automate processes and apply datastore best practices.
- Collaborate with development and evaluation teams to ensure successful delivery of stable, maintainable, and supportable services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with NginxPlus or Linux.
- 1 year of experience with Citrix Netscaler.
- 1 year of experience with Kubernetes.
- 1 year of experience with Puppet.
- 1 year of experience with Go programming language or Shell scripting.
- 1 year of experience with Ansible.
