Software Engineer Associate

About the position

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer Associate to assist in supporting of the Army Customer's Directed Energy Programs with system engineering and software engineering services. This position will be based onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Software Requirements Definition.
• Assist in the software design process.
• Verify and Validate software implementation and integration into the larger software applications.
• Help in the development of various tools in the support of data analytics tasks.

Requirements

• B.S. Computer Science or Engineering with 2+ years of Software Development experience.
• An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Agile Software Development.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab.
