Software Engineer, Frontend, Automate (Mid or Senior Level)

The Automate Team builds products that enable our customers to automate complex workflows for converting highly unstructured data (e.g. documents) into validated structured insights. Users can develop these workflows in Build, publish them as Apps, connect them to external production systems with Deployments, and monitor and improve the output in Review.

Responsibilities

• Using a React and ES6 stack to build intuitive, robust, and scalable user interfaces.
• Collaborating with other engineers, product designers, and product managers to drive new features and applications from ideation to implementation to production.
• Interfacing with other engineering teams to ensure the features you own are integrated with downstream and upstream systems.
• Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to improving stability through testing and other initiatives.
• Evaluating new frontend libraries and technologies to fit our needs, and iterating on and maintaining Instabase's frontend stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience for mid-level; 5+ years of professional software development experience for senior-level.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Javascript, TypeScript, React, Webpack, UI design, HTML & CSS, web fundamentals, APIs, REST, frontend unit & integration testing.
• Experience building complex, robust frontend applications with a Javascript framework.
• Strong technical communication and teamwork skills.
