RVO Health is building a suite of integrated products that enable data-driven, digital experiences for our users, brands, and partners. You will work with modern technologies on the #1 Health Information Site. You will enable 100+ million users a month to live healthier lives. As a member of the Media Revenue team, you’ll work on mission-critical projects that impact privacy, monetization, and brand awareness. You’ll use your programming skills to build high-performance web experiences and integrate with high-throughput transactional services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions on our websites, including Healthline.com
- Work on the development lifecycle of our software products, from conception and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Translate business requirements and specifications into functional code
- Provide input to planning activities including accurate and timely estimates for features, user stories, and tasks.
- Implement innovative software solutions using modern technologies including ReactJS, Next.js, AWS services, and more
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices and security standards
- Contribute well-written code and technical documentation
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of our applications
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building consumer-facing applications.
- 2+ years of experience with website development using JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, Git, and Node
- Experience with modern web application stack like ReactJS and Next.js
- 2+ years of experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with developing for and deploying to a cloud platform like AWS
- Experience working directly with Product teams to deliver on feature requests
- Experience with UX with an emphasis on performance and scalability
