SOFTWARE ENGINEER I

About the position

Constellation West is seeking a Software Engineer position in Bellevue, NE, to play a crucial role in supporting the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) programs. The candidate should have experience with structured software development methodologies and modern software test tools and techniques. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, and will be responsible for developing software, participating in acceptance criteria development, creating scripts and utilizing COTS tools to automate testing, documenting instructions within the wiki, and participating in integration activities. The work location is on-site (Base and NG location) and has an immediate start date.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in software development.
• Ability to work on a cross-functional Scrum team focused on quality and capability delivery.
• Experience with Java development and/or front-end web development, including Web Frameworks (Angular), HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Familiarity with version control software (Git, Mercurial).
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or Extreme Programming).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must have an active Secret DoD security clearance.
