About the position

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer II. This role will work within a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government personnel to define, design, and integrate software capabilities into complicated military systems. As a Software Engineer at SEACORP, you will assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of a key feature in the USS-DSW including development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems. You will design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions, work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations, and participate in daily scrums, 2-3 week sprints, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies. The work includes front and back end development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of a key feature in the USS-DSW.
  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
  • Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
  • Participate in daily scrums, 2-3 week sprints, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies.
  • Work includes front and back end development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field of concentration in Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years experience with C++, Java, Python, Atlassian Tool Suite, Linux.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with deliveries of code every 6 months.
  • Ability to collaborate with others while handling independent tasking.
  • Must hold U.S. Citizenship.
