As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, Texas, or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. This position may not be available in all geographic locations. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Visualforce pages.
  • Build Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and Aura components as needed.
  • Collaborate with admins, analysts, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with external systems.
  • Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure robust, high-quality code.
  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and documentation efforts.
  • Stay current with Salesforce best practices, releases, and new features.

Requirements

  • Experience with Apex and the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with Sales and Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, Trigger Execution Order and governor limits.
  • Experience using Point and Click design instead of code as an option.
  • Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST, SOAP APIs).
  • Solid understanding of Flow, Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification(s).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in Salesforce.
  • Experience with managed packages or AppExchange apps.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and UI development.
