About the position
To work within FLEETCOR's technology function to deliver effective support to both external clients/suppliers and colleagues across all applications. Responsible for investigating software issues raised by clients, identifying the appropriate solution, and prioritizing against the client's business requirements, planned future development and available resource.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using C#/.NET.
- Build modern front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
- Work with SQL Server to write and optimize queries.
- Contribute to cloud-based solutions on Azure or AWS, including serverless components.
- Define and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., ARM, Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Participate in system design discussions and provide technical guidance across the team.
- Support the ongoing migration of applications and services to the cloud.
- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of .NET (C#) and backend development.
- Front-end experience with React or a similar JavaScript framework.
- Solid experience with SQL Server and query optimization.
- Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Good understanding of modern software practices and deployment workflows.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with serverless technologies like Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Any Cloud certifications or Dev Ops.
