We are a strategic partner in advancing UW's teaching, learning, and discovery goals. Our Workday Operations team plays a key role in ensuring the University's cloud-based Workday platform meets the evolving needs of faculty, staff, and student workers.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday Finance modules (Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Supplier Contracts)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues as Tier 3 support
- Analyze and enhance business processes and implement system updates
- Collaborate with integration and reporting teams to ensure end-to-end functionality
- Support testing activities (manual and automated) and manage release updates
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing efforts
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise SaaS platforms (Workday Finance preferred)
- Experience configuring and supporting Finance systems (Procurement, Supply Chain, AP, or Supplier Contracts)
- Strong skills in system troubleshooting, documentation, and testing (including automated tools like Kainos)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environments
- Familiarity with higher education or shared services organizations
- Understanding of Workday business processes and interdependencies
- Experience with knowledge base and case management tools
