Responsible for analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Engages in both development on new features as well as maintenance of the existing code base
  • Uses technical solutions to solve a variety of real-world problems
  • Supports development, understands and interprets logical and physical data models
  • Collaborates with other team members looking for ideas on how to solve specific issues
  • Performs code reviews and change management tasks
  • Assists help desk in providing production support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
  • .NET Development: Proficiency in C#, ASP.net and MVC
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Entity Framework is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of SQL (relational database design, stored procedures, etc)
  • Solid understanding of version control using Git

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (classic or YAML) is a plus
  • Experience with unit testing and UI Automation (Selenium and Playwright) is a plus
