About the position

Employee Navigator is a SaaS business that provides web applications for employees to enroll in benefits and administrative portals for HR, insurance brokers, and insurance companies. Our software is used by over 70,000 companies nationwide, facilitating B2B transactions with insurance carriers and payroll partners. The role involves working with a large database and a code base that presents various challenges and opportunities for growth. The development environment primarily uses C# on .NET Core with MVC and Vue.js for the front-end, focusing on creating user-friendly applications and efficient backend processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan out code and design features
• Help teammates with code reviews
• Build and maintain products with real-world usage
• Rapidly iterate and roll out new code
• Build scale into code and design
• Work with DevOps Engineers to improve tooling and pipelines
• Collaborate with Front-End Engineers to enhance UI widgets
• Design web service APIs
• Coach coding and design techniques as a senior engineer

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required
• 5+ years of professional experience preferably in a full-stack development role
• Proven in-depth knowledge of C#
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Vue.js is a plus but knowledge of JavaScript is required
