About the position

CACI is seeking a Mid to Senior Software Engineer (3-5yrs) to support our JDISS customer in the MD/DC/VA area. This is a full-time position on-site. The role involves providing hands-on technical engineering expertise and development of services, systems, and interfaces in coordination with government and other engineers to ensure system requirements are met as each subsystem is identified, developed, integrated, and validated. The candidate must be able to work in a changing environment and interact with multiple contractors, vendors, and government personnel at the customer site. The position requires out-of-the-box thinking and technology alignment to support Object Based and Activity Based intelligence with multiple data streams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical engineering expertise and development of services, systems, and interfaces.
  • Ensure system requirements are met as each subsystem is identified, developed, integrated, and validated.
  • Work in a changing environment and interact with multiple contractors, vendors, and government personnel.
  • Provide innovative technology solutions to align customer into modernization areas.
  • Generate briefs, design, and software-related documentation at all levels.
  • Brief the customer and others on status, provide demonstrations, and support customer engagement.
  • Build, design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services using multiple tools.
  • Integrate with multiple identity management tools for CAC, PKI, and Single Sign-on requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in programming and integration areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a matrixed team with changing requirements.
  • Experience in RHEL, Windows environments (Virtual, Hybrid, Physical, and Cloud).
  • Proficiency in JAVA, .NET, Angular, Node, JavaScript, Materialize, Complex Queries, and Views for web-based applications.
  • Experience with building, deploying, and configuring containers on multiple platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker EE, RHEL PodMan, Openshift).
  • Experience with NiFi, Kafka, and other tools for data ingest and export.
  • Experience in build and release processes with Di2E and other SecDevOps and CI/CD environments.
  • BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other Technical fields.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance and be able to attain a Poly.
