About the position

Bushel builds software for the agriculture supply chain. Our mission is to connect the agriculture industry through digital infrastructure. Bushel develops software for agribusinesses and farmers including mobile apps, websites, trading tools, digital payments and money facilitation, market feeds, API services, farm management software, and a professional services division focused on agriculture. Today, we have the largest network of farmers and elevators, connecting the most extensive data set in the industry. We offer digital tools that create real value to farmers and elevators to improve their business operations and strengthen relationships. You'll be working alongside experienced Bushel Engineers in a collaborative environment focused on productive company and personal growth. Together, you'll design and develop front and backend applications. You'll expand your skill set by working alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You'll write automated unit and integration tests to ensure code robustness, usability, and reliability. As a Bushel teammate, you'll be an active and self-motivated learner. Requirements

• Has a high passion for development.

• 2+ years of general programming experience.
• 1+ years experience working with either backend focused technologies such as Java, C#, Kotlin, Python or frontend focused technologies such as TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.
• Proven desire to learn/expand knowledge working in a service driven architecture utilizing but not limited to Kotlin based development.
• Experience building and maintaining API endpoints supporting internal and external customers/services.
• Proficient in database concepts and interactions.
