About the position

E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The NGA delivers world-class geospatial intelligence that provides a decisive advantage to policymakers, military service members, intelligence professionals, and first responders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system integration and experience integrating services from different systems
  • Troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes
  • Perform Authentication (AuthN), Authorization (AuthZ), Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM), and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA)
  • Leverage project management skills to manage a client’s integration with our services
  • Implement, evolve, and support authentication, Single Sign On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), federation, and cloud infrastructure
  • Deploy and operate secure authentication, access management, and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies
  • Implement methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization's enterprise IT architecture
  • Navigate Linux operating systems using command line interface

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
  • SEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to attain certification within 60 days of start
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience working with external clients
  • Experience with system integration or software development, and experience integrating services from different systems
  • Debugging software issues, investigating root causes, and recommending fixes
  • Performing software testing or validation
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes/procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes
  • All candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the position
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including OAM, OUD
  • Knowledge of authentication standards using OAuth2, SAML, or PKI
  • Experience containerizing existing custom software
  • Knowledge of common DevOps tools such as: Ansible and Gitlab
