About the position

The Software Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the North American after-sales system in the MP sector, including product and software data evaluation. This role supports the headquarters in ensuring smooth system operations, dealer management, and product data processing within the North American region in alignment with global policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • After-sales System Operation and Maintenance
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the North American after-sales system in MP, including account management and timely handling of dealer issues
  • Product Operation Support
  • Collect and organize relevant product data through the system, make evaluations, and provide feedback on issues to relevant business units at headquarters.
  • Software Operation Support
  • Support the headquarters' software operations team by executing commercial software strategies in the North American region, analyzing data, and providing timely process feedback.
  • Department Assistant
  • Handle administrative and assistant-related tasks assigned by the team leader to support overall department efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Interest in data governance, system operations, or software support roles.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with tools like SPSS or SQL is a plus.
  • Comfortable using standard office applications (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to learn ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) through hands-on experience.
  • Exposure to or curiosity about data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a desire to learn how to identify and correct data issues.
  • Strong interest in improving organizational processes and documenting workflows.
  • Clear and respectful communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when unsure, and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage time and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Eagerness to grow professionally in a global, multicultural work environment.
