Our work depends on Software Packaging Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and defines system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client-based applications
  • Supports the integration of the Windows desktop with a variety of enterprise services
  • Evaluates desktop software and hardware technologies and determines the most efficient method to leverage the technology within the customer's network environment
  • Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for Windows desktop deployments to include virtual and thick client environments
  • Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
  • Plans and directs upgrades of Windows desktop operating system version(s) and supporting infrastructure and related components

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop design engineering and implementation options
  • Experience with Microsoft deployment tools to include Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Experience with engineering and deploying client software installation packages for Microsoft Windows desktops (physical and virtual)
  • Experience with Application Virtualization to include Citrix XenApp, Citrix App Layering, Microsoft APPV, and MSIX App Attach
  • Experience with maintaining Windows desktop systems for mobile users on laptop hardware
  • Experience with anti-virus and malware product integration within a Windows desktop configuration and remediation

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and VMware Dynamic Environment Manager
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows automation scripting with PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Experience with managing and updating work tasks using ServiceNow
  • Experience with maintaining system security compliancy following DISA STIGs
