You will play a key role in ensuring Apple's products deliver seamless, cutting-edge interactions across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Validate Applied Networking features to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop test environments and maintain essential tests and tools.
  • Convey product health across teams through strong communication.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on new features.
  • Work with the automation framework team to improve automated testing and processes.
  • Participate in defining testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Provide concise reports and updates on test coverage, issues, and product quality to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage test data, tools, and utilities to streamline testing processes.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and generate detailed reports on software quality.
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage by integrating new tests and refining existing ones.
  • Mentor peers and take on leadership roles within the team.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Python, Swift, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Good understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test plans, test cases and automating them.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills with a passion for quality.

  • Proven experience working on cross-functional projects.
  • Skilled at debugging, troubleshooting, and critical thinking on bug prioritization.
  • Experience using Xcode to write, triage, and debug automation scripts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across teams.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced development environments with rapid release cycles.
