Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts in simulation platform validation, ensuring robust coverage of functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and integrate testing tools and frameworks that align with the in-house simulation platform, and work towards automating the validation of cross-platform code.
  • Design and implement automated test suites and integrate them within the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring rapid feedback on simulation builds and updates.
  • Work closely with software engineers, system architects, and other stakeholders to identify quality gaps and suggest improvements, ensuring that industry trends and best practices in automotive simulation and virtualization are incorporated.
  • Document test cases, report findings, and track issues, ensuring clear communication of quality metrics to drive continuous improvement of the simulation platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on embedded systems or automotive software testing.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing manual and automated test cases, including scripting experience in Python.
  • Experience with cross-platform testing, especially in Windows, Linux, and QNX environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for simulation environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or higher education in engineering or related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience with automotive design processes and quality standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
  • Knowledge of in-vehicle networking protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and familiarity with AUTOSAR standards.
  • Previous experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for large-scale simulation systems.
