Space Force - Sr Advanced Software Engineer

About the position

As a software engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational systems. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art ground operational systems.
• Maintain hardware, software, and related components of the project.
• Perform infrastructure requirements analysis.
• Participate in research, design, development, and testing of software and tools.
• Develop new work products or enhance existing applications, systems, or embedded products.
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop complex architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Agile experience preferred.
• Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
