About the position

The Special Programs Instructional Assistant is responsible for improving student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). The position may involve working in both general and special education settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist a licensed teacher in planning and implementing educational programs.
• Support the development and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Work in both general and special education settings to enhance student learning.
• Participate in the interview process as required.

Requirements

• Ability to assist in educational program planning and implementation.
• Experience or knowledge in working with students with special needs is preferred.

Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $22.26 - $28.39.
