About the position
We are seeking an experienced software professional to lead the design, development, and testing of software applications, with a strong focus on automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will analyze user requirements, develop robust software solutions, and ensure quality delivery through effective testing and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks with a focus on API and Selenium-based testing.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Document software requirements, test plans, and procedures.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, driving innovation in testing and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1+ year in a similar lead role.
- Strong expertise in automation testing using Selenium and API testing tools.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional).
- Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and cloud environments.
