The operational intelligence and observability team within our Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) organization serves Capital One's technology management and data imperatives by ensuring that operational information on technology assets and platforms are available, intelligible, performant, well-governed, and secure. This role leads the product team that helps enable and deliver the collection and analysis of data from and about Capital One's technology, and spans across software, databases, analytics, security, research, and infrastructure assets. The product leader for operational intelligence and observability will have scope over the tools that enable Capital One to manage its applications and cloud assets. This group partners with technology, risk, security, and business teams to monitor performance, identify issues, and support resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in five key areas of Product management: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
  • Obsess about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions.
  • Deliver game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence.
  • Leverage technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value.
  • Identify and resolve complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks.
  • Lead cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment.

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management.
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
