Truly, the possibilities are beautiful. In this role, you will be a key marketing leader envisioning and implementing integrated marketing strategies to drive critical business growth. The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing reports directly to the Senior Director, Category and Brand Marketing and is responsible for building strong, strategic relationships and go-to-market plans for NEW to Ulta Beauty, and for emerging brand partners to drive mutual success for our Color Cosmetic and Fragrance businesses. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative campaigns that drive mutual growth for Ulta Beauty and brands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns and initiatives including brief development, messaging approach and go-to-market plans across categories.
  • Serve as the go-to marketing contact for brand partners and Ulta Beauty category merchants while leading campaigns that deliver against business objectives.
  • Build reciprocal partnerships cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization: merchandising, customer growth marketing, consumer insights, media, creative, and other key stakeholders to ensure execution of marketing plans/strategies is data driven, clear and cohesive.
  • Analyze performance and learnings from previous campaigns to inform future strategies and execution.
  • Collaborate with peers to manage brand production budget; coordinate with paid media and social budget owners to ensure cohesive planning process and view.
  • Maintain knowledge of key retail and industry happenings, consumer and cultural insights, internal operation processes and competitive landscape.
  • Cultivate a collaborate work environment. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination and cohesive strategies, while still empowering individual teams spaces.
  • Be a thought leader; motivate, inspire, and mentor your direct reports.

Requirements

  • 8+ years brand marketing experience; consumer facing marketing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading 360 integrated campaigns across the consumer marketing funnel that delivered measurable business results.
  • A big picture strategic thinker with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into marketing strategies.
  • Strong experience managing through ambiguity to shape, elevate and move planning forward.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated creativity and creative management, including collaborating with a creative team and/or agency partners.
  • Honed communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in presenting point of view in multiple forums, including leadership level.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; proven ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for business/the work and a lifelong learner.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related fields; MBA or MA preferred.
